Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria of this study were as follows: referring to the PMS standard recommended by the American Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, ACOG) in 2000. (1) according to PMS diagnostic criteria; (2) regular menstrual cycle (28 ±3 days); (3) aged between 18 and 45 years; (4) no combination of drugs or other clinical related treatments during the trial; (5) Right handedness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with other mental disorders or drugs, alcohol dependence; (2) somatic diseases, severe head trauma, severe infection or surgery in the near future; (3) lactating or pregnant women; (4) patients with irregular menstrual cycle; (5) to participate in other clinical drug observation researchers; (6) to have no response to tVNS; (7) to have contraindication with tVNS; (8) to have a history of smoking. Other causes of cirrhosis (e.g. drug, alcohol, hepatitis C virus, etc.).
