Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) critically ill patients admitted to ICU; (2) hospital stay > for 24 hours; (3) aged > 18 years old; (4) people at high risk for abdominal wall tension change/abdominal pressure (abdominal surgery, severe trauma, severe burns, prone position, gastric paralysis, the expansion or pyloric obstruction, intestinal obstruction, volvulus, acute pancreatitis, abdominal cavity expansion, hemoperitoneum, pneumoperitoneum, peritoneal/abdominal tumor, liver dysfunction, peritoneal dialysis, acidosis, low temperature, high APACHE II score/SOFA score, a large amount of fluid resuscitation, sepsis, shock or hypotension); (5) sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients do not agree to have abdominal wall tension measurement; (2) the abdominal wall has a large area of defect or scar, which is not suitable for measuring the abdominal wall tension; (3) especially developed abdominal muscles, such as athletes; (4) abnormal psychological spirit.
