Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged at least 18 years old; 2. primary diagnosed as colon cancer that receiving laproscopic colon cancer resection; 3. primary diagnosed as rectal cancer that receiving laproscopic surgery plus stoma creation; 4. Heart, lung, liver, and kidney function can tolerate surgery; 5. Patients are willing to participate in this clinical study and sign an informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypo or hyper thyroidism because of gastrografin affecting thyroid function; 2. rectal cancer patients receiving laproscopic surgery without preventive stoma; 3. allergic to gastrografin or iodine previously; 4. patients with bowel obstruction perforation and bleeding that need emergency surgery; 5. ASA more than grade III; 6. performance status: KPS less than 60, or ECOG grade is more than 2; 7. has a history of serious mental illness; 8. Pregnant or lactating woman; 9. Patients with diabetes mellitus; 10. patient combined with other situations that the investigator think not suitble for the study.
