Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged =18 years old; 2. Hospitalized cancer patient with tumor properly diagnosed and staged as local, metastaticand/or loco-regional relapse imaging; 3. Cancer diagnosis confirmed by pathology (Liver cancer can diagnosis comfirmed by medical imaging data); 4. Conscious, no communication barriers, and able to answer the questionnaires of the study; 5. Willing to participate in this study; 6. Patients diagnosed with one of the following 18 different types of malignant tumors: lung cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, malignant lymphoma, leukemia, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer, brain tumor, biliary tract malignant tumors and gastric stromal tumors. Cancer records were supplied with the an atomical site coded to the tenth edition of the International Classification of Disease (ICD-10).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hospitalized more than two times during our investigation; 2. With organ transplantation; 3. Pregnant woman; 4. Diagnosed with HIV infection or AIDS; 5. Admitted to ICU at the beginning of recruitment.
