Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Graves disease group: free triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and TRAb is greater than the normal high limit, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is lower than the normal low limit. Aged between 18-60 years old men and women. Healthy control group not attend to randomization, normal FT3, FT4, TSH and TRAb level.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Other types of hyperthyroidism and thyroiditis except Graves'disease; 2) inflammatory bowel disease; 3) irritable bowel syndrome; 4) intestinal tuberculosis and tuberculous peritonitis; 5) functional dyspepsia; 6) hepatitis; 7) autoimmune liver disease and drug-induced liver disease; 8) chronic diarrhea and constipation; 9) gastrointestinal bleeding; 10) malignant tumors; 11) heart, liver and kidney dysfunction (alanine aminotransferase, or serum creatinine is greater than the normal high limit); 12) hematological diseases; 13) berberine allergy; 14) the use of intestinal probiotics within the past three months; 15) all kinds of rheumatic diseases; 16) long-term alcohol abuse; 17) long-term use of glucocorticoid or immunosuppressants; 18) diabetes mellitus; 19) pregnancy and lactation.
