Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Male and female aged 18 to 65 years; (2) patients with a diagnosis of and no history of renal replacement therapy; (3) patients with a diagnosis of HUA [sUA levels = 420 umol/L (7 mg/dL)in male and 360 umol/L in female]; (4) No urate lowering drugs or affecting uric acid metabolism or excretion drugs were used before 1 month treatment; (5) Clinical symptoms are stable; (6) Serum uric acid of all enrolled patients was not lower than 200mmol/l.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with acute kidney injury and gout; (2) Acute and chronic infections, diseases of the immune system, diseases of the blood system, malignant tumors, and active periods of peptic ulcer; (3) Received glucocorticoid/ immunosuppression therapy; (4) Liver dysfunction (aspartate aminotransferase and/or alanine aminotransferase levels greater than two times the upper limit of institutional reference range); (5) Patients with elevated inflammatory markers for unknown reasons; (6) Patients who are allergic to medication; (7) The attending physician considered the patients unsuitable for the study.
