40 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)Aged 40 to 75 years; (2)meet the Clinical Classification Criteria for Osteoarthritis of the Knee as recommended by the American College of Rheumatology; (3)Undergoing unilateral total knee arthroplasty under general anaesthesia during hospitalization without surgical contraindications. (4)American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) Grade I or II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1)Acupuncture can not be performed because of skin lesions at acupoints; (2)Lower extremity sensory disturbance or abnormality; (3)Severe arrhythmias, heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, epilepsy, mental disorders; (4)Received acupuncture treatment in the past one month.
