Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) patients were diagnosed with primary glossopharyngeal neuralgia; 2) patients were aged between 18 and 85 years; 3) patients who failed pharmacotherapy or other treatments

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) patients with severe cardiopulmonary diseases such as myocardial infarction, and heart failure; 2) patients who had styloid truncation ipsilateral to the side of the disease; 3) patients with mental disorders, local infection, or pregnancy; 4) patients with abnormal coagulation function.
