Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) People that meet the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria for major depressive episodes and without psychotic symptoms; 2) Do not take antidepressant or antipsychotic drugs for at least 2 weeks before enrollment; 3) The biological parents are Han nationality; 4) Age 18-45 years old; 5) The education level is above junior high school; 6) The subject himself signed a written informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) People that meet the DSM-IV diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia, schizoaffective psychosis and other diseases; 2) Those with a history of brain organic diseases or chronic serious physical diseases, such as diabetes, thyroid disease, hypertension, heart disease, etc.; 3) A history of mania or hypomania; 4) A history of alcohol dependence and acute poisoning; 5) Pregnant and lactating women; 6) Those who received electroconvulsive therapy 6 months before enrollment, those who used antipsychotic drugs within 1 month, and those who used sedative hypnotic drugs within 48 hours; 7) Color blindness, color weakness, deafness, stuttering; 8) Those with magnetic resonance scan contraindications (eg, metal carrying in the body, claustrophobia) cannot participate in imaging data collection.
