Gold Standard:Cerebral performance category (CPC) score: CPC 1 = good cerebral performance, CPC 2 = moderate cerebral disability
CPC 3 = severe cerebral disability, but conscious
CPC 4 = coma
CPC 5 = death.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged ?18 years; 2. Cardiac arrest was defined as receipt of chest compressions for pulselessness by a healthcare worker; 3. Return to spontaneous circulation after cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with chronic (such as epilepsy, neural tumor)or acute (such as tramatic brain injury, cerebral hemorrhage) neural organic diseases were excluded.
