Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: These are criteria of how we enrolled patients from surveillance, epidemiology, and end results (SEER) database: 1. Site recode ICD-O-3/WHO 2008: Pancreas; 2. Histologic Type ICD-O-3: 8550, 8551, 8140, 8141, 8144, and 8145; 3. Year of diagnosis: 2004-2014; 4. Cancer death and follow up: Active follow-up; 5. Survival months flag: Complete dates are available and there are more than 0 days of survival; 6. Diagnostic confirmation: Microscopically confirmed, positive histology, positive exfoliative cytology but no positive histology, Pos hist AND immunophenotyping AND/OR pos genetic mutataion; 7. First malignant primary indicator: Yes.
