control group:single 40mg periocular injection of methylprednisolone 1-3 days before vitrectomy

18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged =18 years old; 2) RRD with CD.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) recurrent retinal detachment after primary scleral buckling; 2) history of previous vitreoretinal surgery; 3) history of open-globe ocular trauma; 4) eyes requiring primary vitrectomy for macular hole; 5) giant retinaltear; 6) nonclearing vitreous hemorrhage; 7) grade C proliferative vitreoretinopathy.
