18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged 18-85 years old; 2) preoperatively pathologic proved rectal cancer; 3) underwent laparoscopic anterior resection; 4) anastomotic site below retroperitoneal fold.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) distant metastasis; 2) preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy; 3) intraoperative temporary stoma; 4) other operative contraindication existed.
