Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) the patient has been clearly diagnosed with cirrhosis or newly diagnosed with cirrhosis; (2) endoscopic examination revealed gastroesophageal varices; (3) willing to sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) definite infection or unknown cause when bleeding with fever; (2) has used antibiotics after bleeding, or has used antibiotics recently (within 3 days); (3) bleeding occurred for more than 3 days; (4) pregnant or lactating women; (5) complicated with liver cancer; (6) combined with biliary tract or gastrointestinal diseases, such as gastric ulcer, pancreatitis, crohn's disease, acute gastroenteritis, biliary tract obstruction, cholecystitis, parasitic infection and other diseases that may affect intestinal flora; (7) other conditions considered inappropriate by the researchers for inclusion.
