Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Sepsis group: 1. Aged 18-76 years male and female; 2. Patients in ICU (diagnosed with sepsis or suspected sepsis or severe infection with organ damage patients); 3. Signing of the letter of informed consent. Non-sepsis group: including healthy people, patients with infections or trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with blood system diseases, abnormal lipid metabolism, and infectious diseases 2. pregnant and lactating women; 3. patients with mental disorders; 4. refuse to sign informed consent and refuse to provide information.
