18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) 18 to 60 years of age and the pre-operative diagnosis of AS was made according to the modified New York criteria; (2) kyphosis in lumbar, thoracolumbar, or thoracic spine and unable to lie flat in bed and/or look straight forward owning to the kyphotic deformities; (3) a minimum of 2-years of follow-up after surgery and all of the radiographic and clinical data were complete.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) previous spinal surgery; (2) severe concomitant disease, such as spinal tumors or infections.
