25 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 patients with CPB, ASA II-III, heart function II-III, aged 25 to 65 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. A diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction within the last 4 weeks prior to the scheduled surgery; 2. an activated phase of rheumatic diseases; 3. left ventricular ejection frac?tion of <40%; 4. preoperatively confirmed intra cardiac shunt; 5. a hematocrit of <30%; 6. severe systemic diseases, including pulmonary diseases, hepatic, renal, musculoskeletal diseases or immune system illnesses. Additionally, patients receiving oral hypoglycemic agents or theophyllines were excluded since these medications are known to influence the process of ischemia reperfusion injury.
