Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Control cohort: 1. Aged 18 to 80 years old; 2. DSA, CTA and MRA confirmed no carotid stenosis; 3. No history of hypertension, normal blood pressure; 4. Subjects and their families have good compliance. Treatment cohort: 1. Aged 18 to 80 years old; 2. DSA, CTA and MRA confirmed unilateral or bilateral carotid stenosis, with the degree of unilateral or bilateral stenosis greater than 50%; 3. Patients with confirmed hypertension; 4. Subjects and their families have good compliance.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The failure to complete DSA, CTA or MR imagine due to contrast agent allergy or other reasons; 2. ARB drug allergy (treatment group); 3. Pregnant or lactating women; 4. Life expectancy at advanced stage of any disease < 6 months; 5. Imaging confirmed brain tumor with placeholder effect; 6. Took other experimental drugs or participated in other clinical trials in March before the enrolled study; 7. Any reason should not be included in this study or considered by the researcher.
