Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All participants aged 50 to 80 years were no history of leg injuries or other diseases associated with balance impairments, and Berg Balance Scale (BBS22). Individuals were referred if they were within 3 weeks of their stroke, could stand unassisted for 1 minute, and were in need of balance training according to the judgment of the senior physical therapist.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those were excluded if they had recurrent strokes, bilateral hemispheric, cerebellar or brain stem lesions, severe spasticity or cognitive deficit, orthopedic or peripheral neuropathy, significant visual field or hemineglect problems, cardiovascular, or respiratory system impairments or other accompanying ailments.
