15 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients with chronic osteomyelitis of long bone of lower limbs (femur or tibia), and antibiotics were discontinued for more than two weeks; 2) Surgical indications (infected marrow cavity or cortex, dead bones, dead cavities, sinus drainage pus, sufficient new bone to form a capsule or non-union); 3) Aged 15 to 65 years old; 4) Single site infection.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) patients had lower extremity vascular disease which could not be resolved by surgery; 2) there are contraindications for operation: heart disease and abnormal pulmonary function; 3) poor nutritional status, moderate and severe anemia, hypoalbuminemia (albumin below 30g/L); 4) the duration of onset of infection is less than 3 months; 5) chronic osteomyelitis of non long bone of the lower limb.
