60 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: = 60 years old; single rectal cancer confirmed by colonoscopic biopsy; able to undergo radical resection; no previous abdominal surgery; American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) class 1-3; meeting the indications of surgical treatment of rectal cancer in the elderly

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients received neoadjuvant therapy; underwent local excision; emergency operation with bleeding, obstruction, or perforation; functional impairment of important organs; with distant metastasis; allergic history of carbon.
