Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) in the middle third or of the forearm with greater than 10 degrees of angulation or 30 degrees of malrotation after attempted closed reduction; or (2) a middle third open both-bone forearm fracture.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Montaggia, Galeazzi, and pathological fractures as well as children with polytrauma; (2) neuromuscular paralysis and injuries of the central nervous system; (3) fixation of only one bone; (4) fixation of two bones with dual ESIN.
