Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) strong willing to preserve the gallbladder; (2) the thickness of the gallbladder wall was less than 3 mm; (3) the contractile function of gallbladder was over 30%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) complications including acute cholecystitis, acute cholangitis, and biliary pancreatitis; (2) suspicion of gallbladder malignancy; (3) choledocholithiasis; (4) probable or possible patients because of incomplete profiles.
