Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We collected data from all 3607 patients with ASCUS diagnosed by liquid-based cytology (LCT) for whom HR-HPV was quantified or genotyped and who subsequently underwent colposcopy biopsy. 1) history of an active sex life and not pregnant; 2) ASCUS diagnosed by LCT at our hospital; 3) HR-HPV tested at the same time as LCT; 4) colposcopy within two months of LCT.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) LCT, HR-HPV, or colposcopy biopsy data missing or not performed at our hospital; 2) acute genital tract inflammation, or sex, vaginal washing or vaginal medication in the three days before the LCT examination; 3) a history of cervical surgery, such as laser surgery, cervical conization, total hysterectomy, radiotherapy or chemotherapy; 4) other genital tumors; 5) incomplete clinical data.
