Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: We retrospectively reviewed 61 consecutive patients with high dislocation of the hip (Crowe Type III and IV) who underwent THA for the treatment of osteoarthritis secondary to childhood pyogenic arthritis between March 2001 and September 2011. The diagnosis of osteoarthritis was made from the patients history and the clinical, radiographic, and bacteriologic findings.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: abnormal liver function, renal dysfunction, language disorders, mental illness, dementia, etc. Index > 30 or <20, age less than 18 or 80 years old, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) 4 or 5 patients
