38 Years to 85 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 38 to 85 years; (2) Meet the diagnostic criteria for primary knee osteoarthritis; (3) Patients with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren-lawrence scoring standard 1-2); (4) Able to receive fire acupuncture treatment; (5) Voluntary participation in the study and signing of informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Secondary knee osteoarthritis; (2) The knee joint has a history of trauma or surgery in the past year, severe joint deformity (varus or valgus= 8 degree); (3) Injection of glucocorticoid or sodium hyaluronate into the articular cavity of the target knee within 3 months or 2 weeks or receive acupuncture or moxibustion for symptomatic hip arthritis or patellar arthritis on the same side of the target knee joint within 2 weeks; (4) Symptomatic hip or patellar arthritis on the same side of the target knee joint; (5) Inflammatory or other rheumatic diseases; (6)Acute knee meniscus injury, or acute knee injury/fracture around the knee, tumor around the knee, tuberculosis or idiopathic osteonecrosis; (7) Patients taking paracetamol non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or analgesics for other diseases; (8) Uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes, severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, liver, spleen, kidney and hematopoietic diseases, tumor hemorrhage and mental illness; (9) scar diathesis or skin sensory impairment; (10) Pregnant or lactating woman.
