18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-75 years; 2. patients with aortic arch pathologies who require total arch replacement and stented elephant trunk implantation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) preoperative serum cretinine level = 200µmmol/L, or anuria/oliguria or receiving renal replacement therapy; 2) preoperative ALT or AST = 2×ULN; 3) serious gastrointestinal ischemic dysfunction; 4) serious lower extremities ischemic dysfunction; 5) preoperative intubation state; 6) aortic inflammatory diseases including Bechet disease, Takayasu's arteritis; 7) prior cerebral infarction with serious sequelae; 8) pregnancy.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
the incidence of major adverse events incluing mortality, stroke, paraplegia, acute kidney injury necessitating dialysis, myocardial infarction and low cardiac output syndrom within 30 days post operation;

total medical costs during hospitalization;
