Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA I or II, aged 18 to 50 years, singleton pregnancies, scarred uterus and the first time elective CD with a Pfannensteil incision. All enrolled patients received spinal anaesthesia and level of anesthesia is T4-T6.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Active labour, ruptured membranes, known drug allergy to oxytocin, multiple gestation, significant obstetric disease (including pregnancy-induced hypertension or pre-eclampsia), known risk factors for postpartum haemorrhage (including abnormal placentation, giant gestation, uterine fibroids, history of postpartum haemorrhage or uterine atony), inherited or acquired coagulation disorder, and thrombocytopenia (platelet count,100 *10^9).
