Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) according to the WHO diagnostic criteria in 1999, the patients diagnosed with T2DM were defined as: diabetic symptoms + plasma glucose level at any time=11.1mmol/l or fasting plasma glucose (FPG) level =7.0mmol/L or 2h postprandial glucose (2hPG) level of oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT)=11.1mmol/L; 2) previous irregular exercise (defined as regular exercise for more than 3 times per week); 3) informed consent and voluntary participation in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with contraindications to any movement, mainly includes the following categories, but not limited to this: (1) combined with severe heart, brain, kidney, eye, foot and neuropathy complications (hyperplastic retinopathy, nephropathy IV period above, serious diseases of the cardiovascular system, autonomic neuropathy); (2) patients with malignant tumors; (3) patients who are unable to tolerate moderate exercise; (4) heart rate was greater than 120 beats/min or blood pressure was higher than 160/100mm Hg at quietness; (5) the fasting blood glucose was greater than 16.7mmol/L; (6) diabetic foot and severe joint disease; (7) acute complications of diabetes (diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar coma, etc.). 2. patients who have contraindication for Chinese herbal medicine in this research, including pregnancy or lactation women and may pregnancies, Chinese herbal medicine allergy and intolerance, taking some other possible adverse reaction of drugs on Chinese herbal medicine, abnormal liver function (ALT and AST are 2 times greater than the upper limit of normal), abnormal renal function (serum creatinine is greater than normal), etc.; 3. patients who are taking Chinese herbal medicine at the same time; 4. patients who are receiving other intervention research projects; 5. the researcher believes that it is not suitable for the population included in this study.
