Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged = 18 years; 2. Acute ischemic stroke due to stenosis or occlusion of M1 and/or M2 segments of the middle cerebral artery and/or intracranial carotid artery on CT angiography; 3. Signed informed consent by patient self or legally authorized representatives.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suspected subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage and hemorrhagic cerebral infarction; 2. Severe systemic disease which is expected to survive less than 3 months; 3. Severe infection whithin 6 weeks before admission; 4. history of drug abuse or alcohol abuse.
