Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. the patients should meet the diagnose criteria of sepsis 3.0: (1) SOFA>2 when ICU infection or suspected infection; (2) two or three item existed: SBP22 times/minute, conscious change when no ICU infection or no infection. 2. the sepsis is induced by the pneumonia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. age less than 18 years old; 2. malignant cancer, the estimated surviving time is less than 6 months; 3. pregnancy; 4. have used corticosteroids by intravenous before admit into the intensive care unit; 5. own the contradiction and can not use the corticosteroids; 6. long term and regularly use corticosteroids.
