Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 and 80 years old; 2. Diagnosed acute ischemic stroke by using brain computed tomography (CT), diffuse weighted magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and/or magnetic resonance angiography (MRA); 3. Unimproved clinical symptoms with 1 h after strict intravenous thrombolysis (NIHSS score improved less than 4). Time since stroke onset beyond 4.5 h, but less than 8 h for anterior circulation and less than 24 h for posterior circulation. Or, contraindication of intravenous thrombolysis even within the intravenous thrombolysis time window (4.5 h); 4. Using arterial thrombectomy, balloon stents for treatment and antiplatelet agents.
