Interventions

Control group:the control group received an equal amount of 0.9% saline
dexmedetomidine group:prior to tourniquet inflation patients received a loading
oxycodone group:prior to tourniquet inflation patients received a bolus of oxycodone 0.05mg/kg (over 1 min)

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. adult patients (20-75 y old), with American Society of Anesthesiologists; 2. physical status I or III, who will be scheduled for elective orthopedic lower limb surgeries and required pneumatic; 3. tourniquet application during surgeries, and tourniqueted for 60–90 minutes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of allergy to drugs used in the study,history of cardiac arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, renal dysfunction, hepatic dysfunction,cardiopulmonary dysfunction; with disease need taking oxidant and antioxidant drugs within 1 week before surgery.We also excluded patients with expected duration of anesthesia less than 1 hour or more than 4 hour, the presence of a cognitive disorder, history of carotid or brain vascular disease, habitual use of anxiolytics or other drugs that affect the Central Nervous System, psychiatric illness.
