Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: FEV1/FVC < 70% after inhalation of bronchodilator, which is consistent with the diagnostic criteria of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the global strategy of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, GOLD 2018). The hospitalized AECOPD patients met the definition of acute exacerbation in GOLD 2018: Patients with acute onset and exacerbation of symptoms, such as dyspnea, cough and expectoration beyond normal daytime variability, need to change the way of treatment, and patients have indications for hospitalization: respiratory symptoms such as exacerbation, sudden rest. It is difficult to breathe, requiring oxygen therapy or non-invasive ventilation, unstable hemodynamics, frequent acute exacerbations, and severe concomitant diseases. The duration of acute exacerbation was not more than 1 weeks. The stable COPD patients in the outpatient department conformed to the definition of stable period in GOLD 2018, that is, the patients had stable symptoms or mild symptoms, such as cough, expectoration, dyspnea and so on, and the condition was stable for 3 months. The age was more than 40 years old. Both men and women could be treated. Oral or intravenous corticosteroids were not treated or used in 1 months before treatment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Previous diagnosis has been associated with other serious lung diseases, including but not limited to bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, active pulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary embolism, interstitial lung disease, pneumoconiosis, severe chest deformity, lung cancer and previous lobectomy. There are other diseases that affect the level of inflammatory markers, such as: Organic heart disease (except chronic pulmonary heart disease), connective tissue diseases, metabolic diseases, immune system diseases, severe liver and kidney dysfunction, and other parts of the infection. In the past 1 years, there is a history of myocardial infarction, nearly 3 years of history of heart failure or any arrhythmia requiring medical treatment. Mechanical ventilation or other respiratory failure may require mechanical ventilation, such as severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), pneumothorax, neuromuscular diseases, disturbance of consciousness (except for disturbance of consciousness caused by pulmonary encephalopathy), and airway obstruction.
