Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of type 2 diabetes was confirmed; 2. Aged 45 to 75 years old; 3. The disease course is more than 6 months; 4. Han people who lived in Chengdu for a long time (5 years or more); 5. Without severely bad habits such as long-term smoking, drinking and drug taking; 6. The diet habit is relatively stable, without special diet preference; 7. Patients without regular exercise habits, and have not practiced taijiquan for nearly two months; 8. Antibiotics, gastrointestinal motility and microecological modulator were not taken for a recent month, and there were no gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea; 9. To sign the informed consent form with the consent of a diabetes specialist.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 diabetes or other secondary diabetes; 2. Complicated with other severe diabetic complications of heart, brain, kidney and eyes; 3. Patients with a recent history of infection, surgery, and acute cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; 4. Patients with tumor history; 5. With obvious liver and kidney function damage; 6. Having been prescribed antibiotics, hormones, or a history of drug abuse; 7. Other diseases affecting blood glucose history, such as hyperthyroidism, Cushing syndrome, etc.; 8. Patients with severe hypertension (systolic blood pressure (SBP) > 160 mmHg, diastolic blood pressure (DBP) > 95 mmHg); 9. Patients with serious lower limb joint disease and others which are not suitable for tai chi exercise; 10. Patients with a history of mental illness and family history.
