Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children with ASD and their parents: Chinese children aged 7 to 9 years studying in the participating schools from primary school levels two to four, who have been clinically diagnosed with either autism, autistic features, ASD, Asperger syndrome or pervasive developmental disorder by developmental paediatricians or clinical psychologists based on the Fourth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM-IV) and their parents will be invited to join the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with underlying congenital abnormalities or other diseases that limit their ability to engage in daily physical activities will be excluded.
