18 Years to 49 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy, right-handed, native Chinese-speaking adult who have received education for at least 12 years and require 1-2 hours of surgical treatment under regional block anesthesia and intraoperative venous sedation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: has known neurological or cardiorespiratory diseases, snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome, claustrophobia, hearing loss, or history of allergies, currently using medication effecting the neurological system, or has language difficulties or metal implants.
