Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient population is selected from the Department of Periodontology, Peking University, School and Hospital of Stomatology. The patients should be partially edentulous who plan to accept dental implantation or have undergone dental implants surgery. The distance from alveolar ridge crest to mucogingival junction or the keratinized tissue width around buccal side of the dental implants should be <2mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. uncontrolled diabetes; 2. heavy smokers(more than 10 cigarettes per day); 3. cannot have reexamination regularly; 4. refuse to participate in this clinical research.
