Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients =18 years old with central macular edema secondary to BRVO diagnosed by OCT and FFA within 12 months, and the study eyes BCVA between 19 and 73 Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) letters (20/400 and 20/40 Snellen equivalent), and the other eyes BCVA was >34 ETDRS (>20/200Snellen equivalent). Only one eye from each patient was included in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included ocular or general use of other test drugs, systemic steroids within the last 6 months for at least 30 days, intraocular or periocular steroid treatment in the study eye within the last 3 months, eyes with history of treatment that could potentially affect the study, including intraocular laser, and vitrectomy, combined other ocular or systemic problems included ocular inflammation in both eyes, uncontrolled glaucoma, myocardial infarction, and uncontrolled hypertension, et.al.
