Interventions

Preventive treatment group:Combination of isoniazid and rifapentine for six weeks, twice for one week with a maximum dosage of 600 mg

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Residents living in local areas for 6 months or more; 2) aged younger than 75 years old; 3) with a history of tuberculosis treatment before June 2016 or with chest radiography evidence for prior tuberculosis, and no drug resistance record for RPT/INH; 4) positivity IGRA; 5) informed consent by voluntarily signed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) with a history of tuberculosis identified after June 2016; 2) with a history of relapse for tuberculosis; 3) pregnant or lactation; 4) extrapulmonary tuberculosis,central nervous system diseases, tumors, AIDS, HCV infection; 5) history of drug allergy or dysfunction of liver and kidney; 6) subjects who have no full capacity or are unable to promite to complete the entire study period.
