18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Subjects are informed and consent; 2) With a clinical diagnosis of chronic periodontitis,probing depth=5mm,attachment loss=3mm; 3) Meet the diagnostic criteria of diabetes mellitus in 1999 (fasting blood glucose=7.0mmol/L or 2H blood glucose=11.1 mmol/L, fasting blood glucose=10.0mmol/L); 4) Subjects have not received periodontal therapy in the previous 6 months; 5) Subjects aged 18-60 years old,female or male.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Severe complications of diabetes; 2) Aggressive periodontitis; 3) Periodontal abscess; 4) History of periodontal therapy or usage of antibiotics or immunosuppressor within 6 months; 5) The presence of pregnant.
