20 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 20-70 years; (2) obvious symptoms of lumbar/leg pain, more than 3 months with conservative treatment; (3) supine straight leg raise was less than 50 degree; (4) all patients underwent MRI and CT to confirm that the lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in L4/5, and was consistent with the corresponding neurological symptoms; (5) informed consent of the patient.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with intervertebral disc infection and tuberculosis; (2) patients with a history of lumbar surgery or recurrence of herniated disc; (3) lumbar instability or spondylolisthesis; Lumbar spinal stenosis; (4) patients with extreme lateral lumbar disc herniation; (5) those who cannot follow the test scheme; (6) other serious physical or mental diseases are not suitable for surgery;
