Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The subjects are all from the outpatients of the Ophthalmologic Center of Sun Yat-Sen University who consulting the cornea specialists. 1. the Criterion of Diagnosing Keratoconus: 1) cornea power>50D; 2) the patients with intolerance to glasses or contact lenses,or not suitable for wearing contact lenses; 3) the visual aculty <0.32. 2. the inclusion Criteria: 1) The patients with diagnosis of keratoconus in the advanced stage, and satisfying all the criterion of diagnosing keratoconus; 2) the patients aged from 18 to 35 years; 3) The patients with voluntary acceptance of corneal collagen cross-linking surgery and signing the consent forms.Adults sign the consent forms by theirselves. Juveniles patients sign the consent forms by their statutory guardians. The patients with poor eyesight sign the consent forms by their statutory agents with their own thumbprints on the consent forms to confirm the authorization; 4) The childbearing-age female patients not in their period.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) prior herpetic infection; 2) history of immune disorders, especially allergic conjunctivitis or keratitis; 3) history of intraocular surgery; 4) pregnancy.
