Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Kawasaki Disease patients (according to Japan Kawasaki Disease Research Center or The American Heart Association Diagnostic Criteria), Presence of at least five of six conditions: 1. Fever for five days or 2. moreBilateral conjunctival injection without exudate; 3. Polymorphous exanthema; 4. Changes in lips and mouth: Reddened, dry, or cracked lips, Strawberry tongue, Diffuse redness of oral or pharyngeal mucosa; 5. Changes in extremities:Reddening of palms or soles, Indurative oedema of hands or feet,Desquamation of skin of hands, feet, and groin.Cervical lymphadenopathy. Asthma patients: 1. Meet the Global Asthma Guide Program (GINA) Diagnostic Criteria 5 years or elder; 2. No current or recent infection, no medication, or an acute asthma attack; 3. Total IgE=60 kU/L; 4. FEV1/VCmax<92%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Kawasaki Disease patients: 1. Patients with respiratory or digestive tract symptoms; 2. Received intravenous immunoglobulin therapy in previous month; 3. Received glucocorticoids or other immunomodulators in previous week; 4. Received other therapies which may change immune function. Asthma patients: 1. <5 years old; 2. current or recent infection, medication, or acute asthma attack.
