Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients were diagnosed with primary periodontal lesions with secondary endodontic involvement, or true combined lesions at baseline, and the diagnosis was confirmed after treatment; 2) Completing related periodontal-endodontic combination therapy procedures: accepting the supragingival scaling at baseline, carrying on the endodontic treatment after one week, receiving the subgingival scaling and the root planning one week following endodontic treatment, and carrying on supportive periodontal therapy; 3) Patients should have all the clinical parameters, panoramic radiograph and periapical radiograph of the involved teeth at baseline, clinical parameters of 3 and 6 months after combined treatment and periapical film of the involved teeth of 3 and 6 months after endodontic treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Anatomical malformation of teeth; 2) Receiving periodontal treatment nearly 6 months before the first visit; 3) Taking antibiotics and/or anti-inflammatory drugs within the past 3 months before the first visit; 4) Related systemic diseases, such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, liver and kidney diseases; 5) Relevant information is incomplete.
