Patients with periprosthetic infection admitted to Shanghai sixth peoples hospital from September 2018 to June 2019 2. the criterion of periprosthetic joint infection (1) Sinus tract communicating with the joint; or (2) Two positive periprosthetic cultures with phenotypically identical organisms; or (3) Satisfy 3 of the following 5 minor criteria: 1) elevated ESR and CRP; 2) elevated synovial leukocyte count; 3) elevated synovial polymorphonuclear cell percentage; 4) Positive histological analysis of periprosthetic tissue; 5) A single positive culture. 3. Aged 18 to 90 years old man or woman; 4. Patients with periprosthetic fungal infection after hip and knee arthroplasty are required 5. The specimens (periprosthetic tissue, synovial fluid and ultrasonic shock fluid of prosthesis) that are applied to next-generation sequencing are sufficient, uncontaminated and properly preserved.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with superficial infection and deep periprosthetic infection underwent simple debridement, patients with suppurative arthritis underwent septal implantation, and patients with loose prosthesis underwent revision surgery.
