16 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 16-70 years old; (2) Weber type C ankle fracture with complete deltoid ligament rupture (medial malleolar space on the preoperative X-ray more than 5mm ) and without medial malleolar fracture; (3) fracture occurred within 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) chronic fracture; (2) combined with previous ankle deformity, chronic injury or chronic instability; (3) multiple fracture; (4) combined with ipsilateral foot fracture; (5) open fracture; (6) pathological fracture
