Group A:proximal fibular osteotomy
Group B:proximal fibular osteotomy combined with proximal tibial osteotomy and spacer insertion

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. aged between 45 and 69 years, male or female; 2. medial compartment osteoarthritis with radiographic and clinical evidence; 3. Patients with pain and functional disorder which affect the daily life and work. Conservative treatments do not work; 4. Type 1, 2 and 3 according to ahlback classification with varus deformity no more than 15 degrees and extension lag no more than 10 degrees; 5. Paitents with good general health; 6. Patients agreee to particitant this study and signed the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with infectional disease, rheumatoid arthritis or posttraumatic arthritis et al.; 2. Patients with knee injury; 3. Patients with severe bone loss in the medial compartment of knee joint or type III and IV cartilage injury of the lateral compartment; 4. injury of lateral meniscus; 5. Progressive patellofemoral arthritis.
