Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. to be included in the severe disease area, which is in line with the diagnosis of acute gastric injury and the concept of "AGI" proposed by the European society of severe medicine (ESICM) in 2012; 2. acute physiology and chronic health evaluation II (APACHE II) score > 10 points; 3. aged 18-80 years old; 4. sequential organ failure estimation (SOFA) score > 8; 5. to accept the experimental study and complete the signature of family members.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. pregnant or lactating women; 2. No possibility of survival in 24-72 hours; 3. failure to accept or withdraw from the study; 4. patients with acute gastrointestinal dysfunction who improve by themselves; 5. patients with contraindications of neostigmine use; 6. patients with diarrhea; 7. with history of chronic gastropathy.
