Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included all patients with SPHT scheduled for parathyroidectomy, with regular hemodialysis and ASA physical status II and III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with primary hyperparathyroidism as well as those with severe pulmonary hypertension, arrhythmia, arteriosclerosis, aortic stenosis, chronic cardiac dysfunction were excluded from the study. Patients with upper limb extremely edema or malformation or blood pressure difference of more than 10 mmHg between both sides were also excluded.
